In conjunction with Act Natural, Robin F. Williams's first solo exhibition in the United Kingdom and the gallery’s first international pop-up presentation, P·P·O·W is pleased to host a conversation between Williams and UK-based artist Suzanne Treister, moderated by Associate Curator of Whitechapel Gallery, Hannah Woods.
Expanding upon Williams's previous investigations into horror films and the feminization of AI assistants, the works in Act Natural fuse art historical, literary, and pop culture references to create their multivalent narrative compositions. Drawing on this new body of work, Williams and Treister will discuss their distinct artistic practices and shared interest in the intersection of science, technology, and mysticism.
Act Natural is currently on view at No.9 Cork St. through Saturday, October 24.
No RSVP necessary. Seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
