"Hope is a dangerous thing"
Evening of Film, Reading, and Performance

Co-programmed by Rebecca Celli & Eden Deering

P·P·O·W is pleased to present a special program gathering writers, filmmakers, musicians, and performers in conversation with Hope is a dangerous thing. In the form of beauty queens, time-travelers, flutists, and an anthropomorphic swan, the presenting artists pursue decadence and decay in hyper-vulnerable disguises. Their work is an homage to Lana Del Rey and an extension of it, too. We hope you will join us.

6-7pm: Films by Jake Brush, Darby Routtenberg, and Marianna Simnett

7-8pm: Performances & Readings by Michael Bullock, Raque Ford, Gabe Gordon, Wendy Lotterman, Kayode Ojo, and Qingyuan Deng

No RSVP necessary. Seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
